Join us in shaping the field of artificial intelligence for renowned industrial customers and support us immediately (permanent full/part-time) and with full commitment as a Technical Sales | AI Consultant (m/f/d) at our Dresden or Münster location. We are convinced that automated data analysis and the use of AI will make today’s production processes fit for the digital future. To this end, we are developing the IT system Detact® (detact.com). Your responsibilities will include advising and supporting key customers and acquiring new AI projects. The development of long-term customer relationships is our top priority. You can expect highly exciting high-end industrial processes from our globally active customers and a 30-strong team of computer scientists, business IT specialists, mathematicians, designers and engineers.

Your new challenge:

• Managing and maintaining servers, networks and cloud infrastructures to ensure high availability and performance
• Developing and implementing automation solutions for routine system administration tasks, especially with Ansible.
• Building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support software development
• Implementing monitoring and logging solutions to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Implementing security policies and practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems.
• Planning and executing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
• Managing virtualization environments using Proxmox to provision and manage virtual machines.
• Providing technical support for client systems (Windows, Mac and Linux) and assisting users with IT-related questions and problems.

What you should bring with you:

• Degree in computer science, information technology or a related field or comparable professional experience in IT administration
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration or a similar role, ideally in a DevOps environment
• Knowledge of Linux server administration (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat), including installation, configuration and optimization.
• Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls and routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with Ansible to automate configuration management and deployment.
• Knowledge of Proxmox management and virtual machine provisioning.
• Experience in managing and supporting client systems on Windows, Mac and Linux.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Desirable: Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell to automate administrative tasks
• Desirable: Experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their network and security services.
• Desirable:Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
• Team orientation and strong communication skills
