Your Responsibilities
Numbers are your thing—and you want to do more than just “post entries”? Then you’ve come to the right place. In this role, you’ll ensure that our financial processes run smoothly, financial statements are completed on time, and we maintain a clear overview at all times. You work independently, pragmatically, and with an eye for detail. You’ll be an important part of our Accounting team in the Finance and Controlling department. Your responsibilities include:
- Recording all business transactions, including general ledger accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, and bank and general ledger postings
- Handling payroll accounting in collaboration with the payroll department
- Receivables management
- Intercompany postings and corresponding reconciliations
- Preparation of or assistance with monthly, annual, and consolidated financial statements
- Submission of advance VAT returns
- Assistance with tax consulting and support during tax audits
- Independent review and assessment of VAT-related matters in the context of issuing outgoing invoices and verifying incoming invoices
Your Profile
For the position of Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you should have the following qualifications:
- A degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting - Very good to good knowledge of tax law
- Experience working with ERP systems and a strong affinity for IT
- Very good MS Office skills
- Good English skills
- Meticulous, precise, and reliable work ethic
- High degree of initiative
