watttron develops and manufactures high-precision digital heating technologies for industrial applications. With our innovative approach to digital heating, we enable temperature profiles that can be controlled with pixel-level precision, allowing for targeted and efficient heating exactly where it is needed. This improves process quality, reduces energy consumption, and saves material. Our solutions are primarily used in the packaging industry, where they enable the processing of recyclable monomaterials, thereby supporting the transition to sustainable packaging. At the same time, we are expanding into other application areas, such as the semiconductor industry, mobility, and biotechnology. Based in Germany, we work closely with leading international brand manufacturers and packaging machine builders. Our technologies are used in production environments worldwide, and our sales team operates internationally—with customers and partners in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Your New Role

• With strategic foresight, you will identify markets, customer needs, and competitors, pinpoint trends, and derive application scenarios from them
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining competitive products, product strategies, and roadmaps in close coordination with senior management
• You will serve as the link between Engineering, Production, R&D, and Sales when it comes to prioritizing projects, defining specifications for new developments, and supporting product development projects
• In collaboration with Sales and Marketing, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from market launch to ongoing support
• You will also monitor product performance over the long term and manage the continuous improvement process

What you ideally bring to the table

• You hold a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a related field
• You have some professional experience in product management and project management
• You have in-depth technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, ideally in the context of packaging processes
• You are a team player and enjoy working at the interface between different departments
  Initiative, a results-oriented mindset, analytical and decision-making skills, strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach round out your profile
• You are fluent in German and English
