Symate GmbH is a specialist in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data, as well as the developer of the AI system Detact® “AI Infrastructure & Apps,” with offices in Dresden, Münster, Erfurt, and Rostock. Through the automated aggregation and processing of large amounts of data using functional programming methods and streaming technologies, we create the foundation in Detact for interactive analysis environments where complex issues can be visualized and evaluated. Your new challenge:

• Further developing and, where necessary, building new (micro)services and software components
• Implementing data processing pipelines and REST-style interfaces (OpenAPI)
  Functional programming in Scala 2.13 (and possibly 3) using Cats Effect, Fs2, Tapir, Doobie, …
• Collaboration with other developers, mathematicians, and engineers

What you should bring to the table:

• Programming skills
• Interest in Scala and functional programming
• Ability to work independently and familiarize yourself with new topics
• Commitment to writing clean and high-performance code
• luent German and good English
