We develop customized audio communication and voice control solutions for medical technology, emergency and commercial vehicles, public transportation, and machinery and equipment for renowned customers throughout Europe. We also provide consulting services in acoustic product design and system optimization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing modern algorithms for speech and audio enhancement in C++ (beamforming, direction/source localization, acoustic echo cancellation, dereverberation, as well as classic and DNN-based methods for noise suppression).
• Testing and maintenance of modern algorithms for speech and audio enhancement, including automated unit/regression testing and GitLab CI.
• Integration and performance optimization of audio signal processing modules on embedded platforms (e.g., ARM Cortex M, ARM Cortex A).
• Simulation and evaluation of audio signal processing algorithms (Python/C++/MATLAB).
• Objective and subjective speech quality measurement and logging.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with hardware, acoustics, and product teams.

Your Profile:

• Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing./M.Sc./M.Eng.) or doctorate in electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, acoustics, or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing (STFT, FFT, adaptive filters, linear algebra, statistics) and practical experience with beamforming, source localization, noise suppression, and speech/audio signal cleaning.
• Very good programming skills in C/C++; confident use of MATLAB/Octave, Python
• Experience with Docker, CMake, Git
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
• Confident written and spoken German or English (at least B2)
