Your Tasks:
As Team Leader Technical Documentation (m/f/d), you will take on the technical management of a ten-person team. Your tasks will include:
- Technical management of the team
- Making technical decisions
- Coordinating and managing all technical tasks in consultation with the department management
- Designing documentation in accordance with standards and structuring it efficiently
- Compiling technical documentation for systems and system components on schedule
- You will create installation, operating, and maintenance manuals in German and English and adapt them if necessary
- You will ensure that documentation from suppliers is also integrated
- Supporting the editorial system
- Support in the organization, implementation, and control of operational certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) as well as certifications of plants and/or processes
- Regular exchange with the department management and all related technical departments
Your Profile:
You have the following qualifications and skills:
- Degree in technical editing or comparable degree with additional training as a technical editor (m/f/d) or degree in engineering or linguistics and several years of professional experience as a technical editor (m/f/d)
- You enjoy taking on responsibility and ideally already have management experience
- Very good technical understanding and a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Several years of professional experience in technical editing and confidence in formulating and structuring texts
- You are very familiar with the laws, standards, and guidelines for technical documentation and operating instructions
- Confident use of the MS Office package and editorial systems, ideally BloXedia
- Very good German and English skills and a clear, engaging communication style
Class B driver’s license
